Proximity

Designers consciously and unconsciously use design principles to order elements in space to form a given composition.

But designers don't start with a blank canvas. They wander about the topoi, observing what others have already made.

  • Search for models. Place relevant items on your workspace.
  • Be playful, keep trying, don't be afraid to fail
  • Don't wait till the last minute. Grow your design over time. Build. Sleep. Build. Get Feedback. Redesign. Sleep. Build. Feedback. Sleep. Repeat. I solve most of my design problems while I am sleeping.
